No. The Speed Triple 1200 RX is strictly for experienced riders. With 183 hp and instant throttle response, it requires an experienced rider. 

It is not recommended for touring. The clip-on handlebars put a lot of weight on your wrists, and the lack of wind protection (windscreen) will cause heavy wind blast at high highway speeds.

The Speed Triple 1200 RX is designed mainly for solo riding. Its sporty seat and rear-set footpegs limit pillion comfort, which makes it less suitable for regular two-up rides.

The Speed Triple 1200 RX has a seat height of 830 mm. Because it has a very slim design where the seat meets the fuel tank, it is easier for shorter riders to plant their feet on the ground.

Triumph recommends regular service every 16,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first.
