Triumph Bikes in India are available across multiple segments, ranging from entry-level 350cc motorcycles to premium modern classics, performance roadsters, adventure bikes and the Rocket 3 muscle cruiser. The company’s current small-capacity range include models such as Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC, Thruxton 400 and Tracker 400.

A major recent change in Triumph’s India lineup is the introduction of the new 349cc TR-series engine, which has replaced the earlier 398cc unit used in the brand’s small-capacity motorcycles. This move was made to bring these bikes under the lower 18% GST bracket for motorcycles up to 350cc, helping reduce prices by up to Rs 11,000, depending on the model. The updated engine retains much of the same hardware but produces 2-3hp less power and over 5Nm less torque than the outgoing 398cc version. Despite the smaller displacement, Triumph has continued to use the familiar ‘400’ naming for models such as the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X.

Beyond the 350cc range, Triumph also offers a broad premium portfolio in India. The Bonneville and Speed Twin range caters to buyers who want classic British styling with modern engineering. Meanwhile, the Street Triple and Speed Triple are aimed at riders who desire strong performance and sporty handling. For those who are more inclined towards touring and adventure riding, the brand offers the Tiger range. The Rocket 3 Storm sits at the top and is powered by the world’s largest production 2,458cc 3-cylinder engine.

Depending on the segment, Triumph bikes in India compete with brands such as Royal Enfield, Harley-Davidson, etc. As of now, Triumph does not sell any electric bikes or scooters in India, and there are no plans to introduce one anytime soon.
