For all the Dakar enthusiasts out there, Yamaha has created another drool-worthy masterpiece that looks like it would be a whole lot of fun to ride. Based on the MT-07 platform, this could well be Yamaha's answer to the Tenere XT660 replacement.

The T7 Concept showcases an all-new chassis equipped with the 700cc, CP2 parallel-twin engine borrowed from the MT-07; it offers immense tractability that would suit its off-road capability perfectly.

It is equipped with an aluminium fuel tank and quad-projector LED headlight which sits behind a partial carbon fairing. It also has a heavy duty skid plate, as well as high spec KYB front suspension, with a 21-inch front tyre and 18-inch rear one. The T7 Concept also has a custom-made Akrapovic exhaust.
