Yamaha has launched the SZ-RR in India with Blue Core technology at Rs 65,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The SZ-RR is an updated version of the existing motorcycle.

The new Yamaha SZ-RR comes with the same engine as the new FZ 2.0. The 149cc engine (carbureted) makes 11.9bhp and 1.3kgm. The engine setup is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

Amongst the key changes is Yamaha’s Blue Core tech, which is not only claimed to add smoothness to the package, but also aid fuel efficiency by upto 11 percent. The SZ-RR gets tubeless tyres and a new instrument console. It is available in three colours - red, ivory and green.

The launch took place in Chennai during the closing of Yamaha’s ‘Mission 10000KM’ event  that was held to connect with its customers.
