The Tech 80th edition gets a distinctive Verde Pastello green paint scheme, inspired by early Vespa models from the late 1940s. This colour extends to multiple elements, including the front shield trim, grab handle, mirrors, switchgear and front suspension linkage. Contrasting darker green elements are used on the seat, footrest inserts and handle grips.

Design details further reinforce the heritage theme with the wheels styled to resemble those on the original Vespa 98, finished in the same green shade with a diamond-cut effect. Up front, the scooter features a commemorative ‘80th’ badge alongside the Vespa logo, while the rear gets a special ‘80 years of Vespa Est. 1946’ insignia.

Despite the retro styling, the Tech 80th edition is based on Vespa’s current platform, retaining modern features and underpinnings from the standard range. It will be offered in both 125cc and 150cc configurations in India. For reference, the smaller 124.4cc, single-cyl, air-cooled engine produces 9.5hp and 10.1Nm. Whereas the larger 149.5cc, single-cyl, air-cooled engine churns out 11.4hp and 11.6Nm.

Pricing for the Vespa Tech 80th edition in India is expected to be announced next week.
