TVS Motor Company has launched a new four-stroke TVS XL 100 at at Rs. 28,843 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The moped is powered by a 4.1bhp, 99.7cc four-stroke engine, and can reach a top speed of 60kph. According to the company, the moped is said to return 67kpl.
Commenting on the launch, J S Srinivasan, vice president (Sales and Service), TVS Motor Company said, “This launch reiterates our commitment to deliver high-quality, customer-centric products and also underlines our commitment to continually establish a strong brand connect with our customers. The all-new four-stroke moped TVS XL 100 has been designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s customer and is one of the most affordable, reliable, easy to ride, powerful multi-utility two- wheelers in the market.”
The new TVS XL 100 gets broader seats, improved ergonomics, a centre stand, a bigger fuel tank and a stainless steel brake cable. It also has a detachable rear seat with a bigger rear flatbed platform.
Available in black, red, green, blue and grey paint schemes, the XL 100 is now on sale across all TVS dealerships in Maharashtra, alongside the XL Super and XL Super Heavy Duty.
