TVS has been selling the Apache line-up in India for nearly 18 years now, and currently, there are five distinct models in the line-up. The company has now announced that it has sold over 5 million Apache bikes worldwide, which comes 27 months after it crossed the 4 million units sales milestone, in October 2020.

TVS Apache lineup crosses 5 million units sales: details

The Apache line-up has evolved with the times, and models like the RR 310 get features like a Bluetooth-compatible colour TFT display, riding modes and a slipper clutch. In 2021, TVS brought out the BTO (Built-To-Order) kit for its flagship product, which allows you to sprinkle niceties such as adjustable suspension, racier clip-on handlebars and foot pegs as well as a special colour option.

However, it's not just the range-topping Apache that gets all the bells and whistles, and TVS has bestowed a few of these on its more accessibly priced offerings. Even the Rs 1.45 lakh Apache RTR 200 4V gets a respectable amount of features such as dual-channel ABS, riding modes, preload-adjustable suspension at both ends, a slipper clutch, radial tyres and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

The Apache RTR 160 4V is one of the only bikes in the class to offer a 4-valve engine and is one of the most refined 160cc bikes. Despite that, the venerable Apache RTR 160 2V and RTR 180 still enjoy healthy demand in some pockets of the country, and TVS has recently updated both models with features such as an LED headlight and tail-light and Bluetooth connectivity.

As for what’s next in the Apache line-up, the company should be launching the highly anticipated naked version of the Apache RR 310 in the coming months.
