Triumph Motorcycles today opened a new showroom in Pune, which is its fourth dealership after Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi. The new dealership will also follow the company’s design layout representing Triumph’s retail setup found globally, including a consultation lounge and a sales area placed near the motorcycles on display.

The dealership also has an integrated after-sales service facility that features service bays and spare parts inventory. The outlet will offer a collection of Triumph merchandise that includes riding gear, accessories and memorabilia. Customisation facilities will also be made available to those who wish to tweak their stock Triumphs.

According to the company’s statement on the occasion, the staff at Triumph dealership, Pune, has undergone immense training in management of sales, service, spare parts, business systems and customer service, to ensure that customers get the best-in-class pre and post sales ownership experience.

On this occasion, Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles India said:, “We plan to open up two more dealerships in Mumbai and Ahmedabad by May 3rd, 2014, followed by dealerships in Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata by June 2014 as a part of our nine dealerships planned for this year. With our state-of-the-art dealership, our aim is to give the brand lovers not just a product but an overall experience that they deserve from a globally renowned brand like Triumph.”

Closing onto its sales target of 500 units in the first eight months of operations, the company claims to have clocked 335 bookings across its five model categories.

Triumph’s current line-up includes the Bonneville, the Bonneville T100, Thruxton, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 XC, Tiger Explorer, Thunderbird Storm, Rocket III Roadster, Daytona 675 and the Daytona 675R.
