Suzuki Motorcycle has rolled out its 10 millionth two-wheeler from its Gurugram manufacturing facility, marking a key milestone nearly two decades after it began operations in India. The milestone unit is a Suzuki Access Ride Connect Edition, reflecting the scooter’s importance to the company’s domestic volumes.

Suzuki has achieved this milestone nearly two decades after it began operations in India
Suzuki commenced manufacturing in India in 2006 and reached the five-million-unit mark in 2020. Production has accelerated since then, supported by sustained demand and a broader product portfolio across scooters, motorcycles and imported big bikes.
The company’s growth has been led by the Suzuki Access 125, which continues to be the brand’s highest-selling model. The scooter range also includes the Burgman and Avenis, while the motorcycle line-up spans the Gixxer series, V-Strom SX and flagship offerings, such as the Suzuki Hayabusa.
Suzuki has also begun expanding beyond conventional petrol models. It recently introduced the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel and has confirmed an upcoming electric scooter, the Suzuki e-ACCESS, for the Indian market.
To support future growth, Suzuki Motorcycle India is setting up a second manufacturing facility at Kharkhoda, Haryana, which will add production capacity and complement the existing Gurugram plant. The company currently operates through more than 1,200 sales and service touchpoints across India and exports made-in-India two-wheelers to over 60 global markets.
