The Suzuki Intruder 150 has been spied in India. Images of a leaked brochure also show Suzuki’s brand-new, premium motorcycle for the Indian market. The bike features a striking, modern cruiser design based on Suzuki’s full-size Intruder M800 and Intruder M1800. The bike features flowing, front-heavy bodywork with a large and striking headlamp. The rider seat is a low, heavily padded affair, while the pillion seat sits just ahead of a round grab handle. The exhaust is a large, dual-port unit that is inspired by the Gixxer. Overall, the design is quite flashy and is likely to polarise, but we will reserve opinion till we see the bike in person.

The Intruder’s unique design is unlike anything we’ve seen before, but the cycle parts do look familiar. The front forks, wheels and disc brake appear similar to the Gixxer and the single-cylinder air-cooled engine also looks like it’s been borrowed from the naked Suzuki. The forks do look a bit raked out and it’s possible that Suzuki has worked on the Gixxer chassis to suit this role. The brochure indicates that the Intruder gets a full-LED headlamp and tail-lamp, as well as ABS. This could be similar to the Gixxer SF where the safety feature is available for an extra cost.

The Intruder 150 could be priced above the Gixxer, which will position it somewhere around the Rs 1 lakh mark. We will be riding this motorcycle soon and expect it to go on sale within 10 day’s time.
