Suzuki Independence day ride culminates in Thailand

Two riders covered 5,600km across three countries on Suzuki Intruders.

Suzuki has successfully completed its ‘Brotherhood tri-cultural ride’ which started from India Gate, New Delhi and ended in Bangkok, Thailand. The ride commenced on August 15 and culminated on September 7, 2018, by the end of which, the riders clocked around 5,600km in 23 days.

Abhishek Mishra and Sonia Jain were the two riders astride Suzuki Intruder FIs. The pair rode to Bangkok via the India-Myanmar-Thailand Trilateral Highway. This meant the duo passed through different climatic conditions and locations. They passed through Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati and Dimapur to reach Myanmar, to name a few places. Keng Tung was the last stop before they entered Thailand, to finally complete their journey in Bangkok.

After the successful completion of the ride, Sajeev Rajasekharan, executive vice president, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We congratulate Abhishek Mishra and Sonia Jain on their achievement of completing the tri-cultural ride in the stipulated time and spreading the message of brotherhood and friendship. Travelling through multiple cities, cultures and nationalities, it is an honour for Suzuki Motorcycle India to be a part of their journey in this expedition.”
