Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition: what’s exclusive?

Royal Enfield has launched a limited-run Shotgun 650 with a three-tone colourway inspired by Icon Motorsports’ custom build. This build was showcased at the 2024 edition of EICMA as well as at Motoverse 2024.

The Icon Edition also has special painted parts, such as blue shock absorbers, a red seat, gold wheels and bar-end mirrors. Each motorcycle will also come paired with an exclusive Royal Enfield jacket, whose colours will match the motorcycle’s paint.

Mechanically, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition is the same as the standard motorcycle it is based on and carries the same 648cc parallel-twin motor that makes 47hp and 52.3Nm, and it tips the scale at 240kg.

The Icon Edition commands a Rs 66,000 premium over the standard Shotgun 650 (Rs 3.59 lakh), and the company has reserved 25 units of it for India.

Registrations are open and can be done only on the Royal Enfield app, with only the first 25 securing a chance to buy. The results will be announced on February 12 at 8:30 pm IST.

    All prices are ex-showroom, Chennai.
