Hero, TVS announce price cuts

Hero MotoCorp and TVS pass excise duty benefits to customers.

After the excise duty reduction announced in the interim budget 2014-15, Hero MotoCorp has decided to pass on the duty benefits to its customers, spreading the price cut across its product portfolio in the range of 2-5 percent, with a maximum cut-off of Rs 4,500.
 
TVS has also announced plans to pass on benefits from duty reduction to customers. However, the company has not yet disclosed details.
