Harley-Davidson India will launch two motorcycles for the Indian market on the October 30, 2014. The two new bikes are speculated to be the new the Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Limited.

The first motorcycle on the cards, the Harley-Davidson Breakout belongs to the Softail family that include the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and the Heritage Softail Classic, all of which have more or less sedate design cues. A typical Harley-Davidson Softail family trait is the hidden rear shock absorber, to give the bike a rigid suspension look from the old days. The Harley-Davidson Breakout, although, belongs to this family, it sports a more youthful look, with a leaned in posture, and wide handlebars. A sporty 240mm tyre is much wider than the one featured on the regular motorcycles from the Softail family. Harley-Davidson says the bike has a drag-bike attitude, and terms the Breakout as a performance cruiser, much like the V-Rod and Night Rod Special.

Harley-Davidson’s second launch for the day will be the CVO Limited, from the ‘Custom Vehicle Operations’ (CVO) family. The specialty of this CVO cruiser is its massive size, a control panel up front that gives a cockpit-like feel when aboard. It has four clocks, a ‘Boom’ LCD display and two large speakers in the front dashboard. Comfortable backrest enabled seating for the rider and pillion backrest with arm rests are a luxurious touch. Plus, there is a large batwing fairing and, useful yet stylish, luggage compartments on the CVO Limited, along with a host of other good features.
