A special edition version of the Mahindra Two Wheelers motorcycle, the Mahindra Centuro, is to be launched shortly in association with the upcoming movie by director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, ‘Mirzya’.

The Mahindra Centuro Mirzya shares the same platform as the Mahindra Centuro, albeit with minor cosmetic and sticker changes. It comes with the same 106.70cc, single-cylinder MCI-5 (Micro-Chip ignited-5 curve) engine, that adapts to terrain to enhance pick up and mileage; which Mahindra has developed indigenously. This engine develops 8.4hp of power and 8.5Nm of torque.

The Mirzya version of the Centuro will come with standard features such as alloy wheels, flip key and LED tail-lamps, as well as distinctive body graphics. It also gets a chrome-finished silencer heat-plate instead of the standard Centuro’s black-finished one. The Centuro Mirzya is likely to be available in the drum-brake version of the Centuro. But it is left to be seen if the disc-brake version will be available once it is launched.

Vinod Sahay, chief executive officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, "We are delighted to offer a really distinctive and stylish looking Mahindra Mirzya edition to celebrate our association with the Film ‘Mirzya’. We are confident that like the film, Mahindra Mirzya will become a rage in the upcoming festive season."
