The company says it has successfully concluded negotiations with Black Toro Capital – the owners of GasGas Motorcycles. A co-operation was signed and both partners see this as a starting point for a bright future for GasGas. GasGas, which was set up in 1985, is known for its off-road products and has a presence in over 50 countries, across five continents.

As part of this understanding, GasGas will develop new models alongside its Trial and Enduro bike portfolio.

The production of GasGas products and Torrot electric vehicles continues in Girona, Spain. The new joint venture intends for GasGas products to be added as a third brand to the strong sales network of the KTM Industries (Pierer Mobility) group – alongside the existing KTM and Husqvarna brands.

The deal is subject to the approval of the concerned antitrust authorities.
