KTM has announced revised production timelines for its next-generation Street and Adventure models, first showcased at EICMA 2024 in Milan.

  1. New-gen KTM 990 RC R, 1390 Adventure, 990 Duke R to enter production from Oct–Nov 2025
  2. All affected bikes transition from 2025 to 2026 model year
  3. KTM 1390 Super Duke GT delayed further to 2027

KTM announces a 4-year warranty plan

This warranty plan comes complimentary with purchase.

As part of the updated schedule, the KTM 990 RC R, 1390 Super Adventure S, 1390 Super Adventure S Evo, and 1390 Super Adventure R will go into production in October 2025, while the KTM 990 Duke R will follow in November 2025. The 1390 Super Duke GT has been delayed further, with production now set for 2027.

These changes mean the models will transition from the planned 2025 model year to the 2026 model year. KTM says this ensures the new motorcycles will be fully ready before reaching customers.

To support buyers, KTM is also rolling out a complimentary 4-year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty on all new 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 LC8 and LC8c Street and Adventure models. This extends the standard 2-year warranty by an additional 2 years, providing greater coverage and peace of mind.

While these revised schedules are aligned with KTM’s global production roadmap, when the new Mattighofen-built models will finally arrive in India remains to be seen.
