Under its BigWing umbrella, Honda sells a couple of 300cc machines in addition to its big bike portfolio, and the more affordable of the two is the CB300F. Owing to the GST revision in recent times, this bike has now seen a price drop and is now one of the most affordable 300cc bikes in the country.

  1. Honda CB300F price reduced by Rs 15,000
  2. Available in two variants – DLX Pro and Flex Fuel
  3. Powered by an air/oil-cooled 293cc engine making 24hp and 25.6Nm

Honda CB300F price revised due to new GST rates

It was originally launched at Rs 2.29 lakh some years ago.

The CB300F was priced at Rs 1.70 lakh before the new GST rates came into effect, and its price now stands at Rs 1.55 lakh, marking a drop of Rs 15,000. At its new price, the CB300F is one of the most affordable 300cc bikes in India. Ironically, when this bike was first launched in our market, its Rs 2.29 lakh asking price proved to be too high, prompting Big Red to offer a huge Rs 50,000 discount to boost sales. Post this, the company revised the price altogether to Rs 1.70 lakh.

At its new price, the CB300F makes for a very good VFM proposition for someone looking for a well-built and light city machine with peppy performance. Honda also offers the CB300F in a flex fuel-compatible variant, which is capable of running on E85 fuel – petrol and ethanol blend containing 85 percent of the latter. Both versions are mechanically and visually identical to each other and even cost the same Rs 1.55 lakh.
