The Honda BigWing Topline Mumbai showroom held a grand event to deliver 11 CBR650R motorcycles today. The happiness on the owners’ faces was understandable, more so because they've waited for four months for the delivery of their motorcycles. Incidentally, all the motorcycles being delivered were in the same 'Grand Prix Red' colour.
To reiterate, the Honda CBR650R is powered by a 649cc, inline-four-cylinder engine producing 87hp at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm at 8,500rpm. The bike is priced at Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom) and is brought to India via the CKD route.
Besides the deliveries of the CBR, the 2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports was also unveiled at the event. The 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports is available in manual and DCT variants, with the latter getting a programming change to offer smoother engagement in first and second gears.
