Hero MotoCorp has teased its upcoming Xpulse 421 adventure motorcycle in an Instagram reel ahead of EICMA 2026. The caption and hashtags hint that the bike will be revealed at the upcoming motorcycle show. The teaser features the bike being ridden off-road in the mountains and Hero MotoSports rally imagery, although the production spec motorcycle itself has not been revealed.
- The bike will use a new liquid-cooled engine displacing around 420cc
- Gets a brand-new chassis
- Features a TFT display, new switchgear and cruise control
The Xpulse 421 has earlier been spotted testing in Ladakh, with spy shots revealing an adventure-focused design featuring a tall windscreen, a large fuel tank, wire-spoke wheels and long-travel suspension. It is expected to use an all-new liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine displacing around 420cc, housed in a new steel trellis frame.
While Hero has yet to reveal performance figures, the new ADV could produce around 40hp or more. A large TFT display, multiple riding modes and cruise control are also expected, based on features seen on the test mule.

If unveiled at EICMA, the Xpulse 421 could arrive in India sometime in 2027. It is expected to take on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure, with an expected price tag between Rs 2.70 lakh-Rs 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Official specifications, pricing and launch timelines should be revealed soon.
