Hero MotoCorp has announced a price hike of up to Rs 3,000 across its range of motorcycles and scooters that will come into effect from July 1. The company says the increase in prices is a result of growing inflation and rising input costs.

The exact amount will depend on the specific model and the market, Hero said. Its scooter range currently consists of the Pleasure+, Maestro Edge and Destini 125 models, while the motorcycle range includes the Splendor+, Super Splendor, Splendor iSmart, HF 100, HF Deluxe, Glamour, Passion Pro, Xpulse, Xtreme 160R and Xtreme 200S models.

Hero isn’t the only manufacturer that’s announced price hikes recently. Just this month, Yamaha, TVS and Aprilia have all increased prices of select models from their portfolio.
