Hero MotoCorp has executed a name changing exercise affecting several of its current two-wheeler models. The established CBZ X-treme is now to be called only the X-treme. Subsequently, the CD Dawn and CD Deluxe are now renamed the Hero HF Dawn and Hero HF Deluxe.

Hero and Honda joined hands to produce two-wheelers back in 1985, a partnership which Hero recently bought over completely, making it apt for Hero to start using their own badges for all future motorcycles and scooters.
