BMW Motorrad India has shared another teaser for a new iteration of the G 310 RR, and this one confirms that it will be a limited-run motorcycle. Since the G 310 RR hasn’t received a major update in recent years, it’s likely that this edition could incorporate some of the more recent improvements introduced on its TVS counterpart, the Apache RR 310.

  1. Limited to 310 units
  2. Numbered tank badge marks each unit
  3. Could feature updates from the Apache RR 310 platform

BMW G 310 RR limited edition details

Power and feature upgrades possible

The G 310 RR shares its platform with the TVS Apache RR 310, which has undergone significant updates over the past year, including engine enhancements that boosted output from 34hp to 38hp at 9,800rpm and torque from 27.3Nm to 29Nm at 7,900rpm.

TVS also introduced features like a bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, launch control and cornering drag torque control. Which of these updates will make their way to the G 310 RR remains unconfirmed for now.

Limited editions usually include cosmetic updates to distinguish them from the standard model. This bike is expected to feature a special paint scheme, and the teaser confirms a numbered tank badge along with a black, red and blue colourway reminiscent of BMW’s ‘M’ bikes, such as the M 1000 RR.

The motorcycle may also borrow some of the aerodynamic and visual tweaks from the updated Apache RR 310, such as winglets on the fairings, a transparent clutch cover and new alloy wheels.

The standard BMW G 310 RR is currently priced at Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and this limited-edition variant will likely carry a premium. However, since the bike falls under the sub-350cc bracket, it may also benefit from the upcoming GST rate revisions, potentially offsetting the price hike. We’ll provide an update once official details are out.
