    2019 saw quite a few exciting motorcycle launches, some leading to exciting match-ups between the old and the new. Here’s a list of the top five bike and scooter comparison videos uploaded on Autocar India’s YouTube channel, over the past year.

    5. Hero Xtreme 200R vs TVS Apache RTR 160 4V - 166,679 views

    Ever since its launch, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been the benchmark in its segment, offering a fine balance of performance and practicality. Late last year, Hero unveiled the Hero Xtreme 200R, making this comparison, inevitable and exciting. 

    4. BMW F 850 GS vs Triumph Tiger 800 XCx - 192,529 views

    The Triumph Tiger 800 XCx was unrivaled in the midsize adventure tourer segment for most of its existence in India, up until the BMW F 850 GS launched in late 2018. We brought the two bike together, on and off the road to find out if the Triumph held its ground.

    3. Benelli TRK 502 vs Kawasaki Versys 650 - 271,856 views

    The TRK 502 and 502X were the first two bikes that Benelli introduced in India after it made its re-entry into the country. The road-biased TRK 502 went face-to-face with the established Kawasaki Versys 650 and there could only be one winner. Watch the video below to find out which one was our pick.

    At its price point, the Hero XPulse 200 has no direct rivals, but its closest competition comes in the form of the more off-road-ready, but more expensive, Royal Enfield Himalayan. We took the duo out on the highway and through some lesser known trails to see which of the two is a better buy.

    These motorcycles come from three different price brackets but all fall into the same category. Much like the Xpulse and Himalayan, these too, have been designed for the adventure enthusiasts and for tackling long stints on the highway and the occasional detour into the unknown.
