Bajaj Auto conducted a speed biking event called the 'Festival of Speed' in Pune. Hosted at Downtown Racing, Bhawani Nagar, Kharadi, Pune, the event gave Pulsar owners a chance to indulge in professional track racing.

Skateboarding, bicycle motocross, stunt shows, and DJ performances were also part of the event. Races were open to all owners of Pulsar bikes of 200cc and above, and six Pulsar RS200 owners have been chosen to participate in the grand finale that will be held at Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT), Chennai on April 16. Finalists from Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai will be selected, who will then receive professional training from experts before the grand finale. The winner will be awarded with the first Pulsar Cup of the country along with prize money of Rs 1 lakh.

Commenting on this new initiative, Sumeet Narang, vice president (Marketing), Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “Conceptualising India’s first speed biking festival is an offering for the sports biking enthusiast in the country.
