New Tork Kratos X e-bike: details

The new Tork Kratos X gets features such as a 7-inch, touch-compatible, TFT dash and an aluminium swingarm. The motor will also be more powerful than the one on the Kratos R, although the company hasn't mentioned by how much, and it also gets a new FF (Furiously Fast) mode.

The Kratos X features different side panels to the Kratos R but its production version is a fair bit of time away. Tork says test rides of the Kratos X will commence in March and deliveries are slated to begin in June.

    Updated Tork Kratos R: details

Alongside the new Kratos X e-bike, Tork also showcased an updated version of its Kratos R e-bike, although the updates are restricted to the cosmetic side of things only. The Kratos R now features a blacked-out battery pack and a new dark blue colourway. The bigger change, however, comes in the form of a brand-new LCD dash. The layout and the graphics are all-new, while the warning lights are now positioned in the blank space surrounding the main display unit in place of the dedicated slots around the dash on the earlier model.

Tork's future plans: details shared at Auto Expo 2023

A couple of noteworthy updates shared by Tork include the release of a new portable charger that can top up the battery as quickly as a home charger and that it will soon be offering accessory panniers on its e-bikes.

Tork Motors has also revealed that its new plant will have a capacity of 60,000 units and it will be operational by Q1 2023. Originally, Tork had said it would be present in seven cities across the country by March 2023, but that number has now been increased to 11. Currently, Tork retails its products in Pune, Satara, Hyderabad and Patna.
