- It now produces 205hp and 112Nm
2026 Kawasaki ZX-10R price hiked by Rs 99,000
The ZX-10R now produces 8hp and 2.9Nm less
Kawasaki has listed the 2026 model of its ZX-10R supersport bike in India. Interestingly, it sits alongside the 2025 iteration, with a price difference of Rs 99,000. Priced at Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India), Kawasaki India clarified that this figure does not account for the upcoming GST hike on motorcycles above 350cc. The revised tax structure, which comes into effect on September 22, will push such bikes into a higher bracket, meaning prices are only expected to climb further.
There is also a drop in power compared to the previous iteration. The 2025 model was rated at a maximum output of 213hp (with RAM intake) and 114.9Nm. However, the 2026 version now lists its peak output at 205hp (with RAM intake) and 112Nm – a decrease of 8hp and 2.9Nm. Kawasaki has not disclosed the reason behind this drop in performance, and we will update this story once further clarification is available.
Apart from the price hike and reduced performance, the 2026 model remains identical to the outgoing version. Even the colour schemes are unchanged, with the ZX-10R continuing to be offered in two livery options – Kawasaki KRT Green and a Grey with Green accents.
