Honda recently launched the 2023 H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS in India. The motorcycles have received a few updates and here are the top five things that you need to know.
2023 Honda H'ness CB350, CB350RS: new colours
The Honda H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS are now available in two new colours. The Honda H’ness CB350 gets a new blue colour that looks deeper than before and has two stripes that are in a contrasting grey colour. In addition to this, the grey/black colourway has also been tweaked.
The Honda CB350RS gets two new colours. The first is a rich, glossy blue colour, while the second is a subtler, matter grey/black colour.
2023 Honda H'ness CB350, CB350RS: new top-end variants
The H’ness CB350 gets a new top-spec variant – the DLX Pro Chrome – followed by the DLX Pro and the DLX. The top-spec CB350RS, on the other hand, is called the DLX Pro Dual tone. Essentially, the new additions replace the DLX Pro as the top-of-the-line variants on both bikes.
New seat standard on 2023 H’ness CB350
Along with the cosmetic changes, the H’ness CB350 gets a new split seat as standard across all variants. Finished in a neat-looking tan shade, the seat is said to offer better cushioning and support.
2023 Honda H'ness CB350, CB350RS: OBD2/E20 compliance
The OBD2 regulations come into effect in a few weeks, and manufacturers are busy updating their bikes to conform to the new emissions norms. While the Honda H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS have been updated to conform to the new OBD2 rules, they are also E20 compliant. That means that the 350cc, single-cylinder engine can run on petrol that’s been blended with 20 percent ethanol. Besides Honda, we’ve also seen Yamaha launch E20-compatible bikes, like the FZ-X, for example.
2023 Honda H'ness CB350, CB350RS: new prices
With the introduction of OBD2/E20 compatibility and the new colourways, the prices of the H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS have gone up. The H’ness starts at Rs 2.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.15 lakh for the DLX Pro Chrome trim. The CB350RS starts at Rs 2.15 lakh and the next two variants cost the same at Rs 2.18 lakh. In effect, the prices of the Honda H’ness have risen by roughly Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000, while the CB350RS is dearer by around Rs 10,000-Rs 12,000.
The company also introduced a new line of accessories for the H’ness CB350 and CB350RS. The former can be optioned with four kits, whereas the latter only gets two kits as an option. You can read more about these kits here.
