The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 250 has made its debut, but you can get your hands on one only in Japan.

For 2021, the only new aspect of the Ninja 250 is its colour schemes. Kawasaki has made the bike available in two colour options - Metallic Carbon Grey and KRT Edition graphics. The rest of the bike remains identical to the older model.

2021 Kawasaki Ninja 250 engine and features

Powering the new Ninja 250 is a 248cc parallel-twin unit that produces 37hp at 12,500rpm and 23Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that works alongside a slip-and-assist clutch. Other features like the dual-channel ABS and LED headlight have been carried over from the older model.

    2021 Kawasaki Ninja 250 price

The 2021 Ninja 250 KRT is priced at 6,54,500 yen (Rs 4.61 lakh) and the Metallic Carbon Gray at 6,43,500 yen (Rs 4.53 lakh). At the moment, there is no word on whether Kawasaki plans on launching the Ninja 250 in other markets apart from Japan. It’s unlikely that the bike will make its way to India considering that BS6 Ninja 300 is set to debut here early next year.
