Suzuki has priced the final lot of the BS4 Hayabusa in India at Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The manufacturer is calling it the 2020 edition and it will be available only in limited numbers. For 2020, the bike comes with two new colour schemes – Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red. Additionally, the bike also gets a new front brake caliper.

Mechanically, the new Busa remains the same as the previous year’s model, with the 1,340cc in-line-four engine producing 199.7hp and 155Nm of torque. However, this is likely to change after details of what appears to be the next-generation Hayabusa surfaced online a few months ago. In fact, India is one of the few countries where the current generation of the motorcycle is still on sale.

At Rs 13.75 lakh, the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa is significantly more affordable than its rival – the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R (Rs 19.70 lakh), which also followed a similar launch strategy with its 2020 model. The Hayabusa makes its way to India via the CKD (Completely Knock Down) route and is assembled at SIMPL’s factory in Gurgaon.
