KTM has updated the 250 Duke with dual-channel ABS. Priced at Rs 1,93,421 (ex-showroom, Pune), the updated bike comes at a considerable hike of a little over Rs 13,000. The non-ABS variant of the bike that costs Rs 1.80 lakh will soon be discontinued, owing to the April 1, 2019, mandatory-ABS deadline.

Apart from the addition of this safety feature, the 250 Duke receives no other updates. Powering the bike is a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30hp at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.

Despite the ABS update, the 250 Duke continues to sit in a bracket where it has no direct rivals. The closest, in terms of performance and price, is the TVS Apache RR 310 (Rs 2.13 lakh). However, we believe that the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 will be priced relatively close. Dealers are expected to receive the updated bike in the next few days, with deliveries set to begin soon after.
