2016 Honda Activa-i launched at Rs 50,255

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMIS) has launched an updated version of the Activa-i at Rs 50,255 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The scooter gets no changes except for the addition of new colour options.

The standard variant of the Activa-i gets two new colour schemes – Pearl Trance Yellow and Candy Jazzy Blue – taking the total colour options to four. The Deluxe variant now offers an Imperial Red metallic paint scheme in addition to the Orchid Purple Metallic and Pearl Amazing White that was available earlier.

Mechanically, the Activa-i continues to use the same 8hp, 109.2cc single-cylinder engine as before.
The updated Activa-i is HMSI's seventh launch this year, with the earlier ones including the new Navi and the updated Dio.

“In line with our strategy to surprise our customers by adding freshness to our products regularly, the 2016 Activa-i is Honda’s seventh new model of 2016,” said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president (Sales and marketing), HMSI.
