Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 220F with a long-awaited feature: an LED headlight. The model last received a notable update in December 2025, when it gained refreshed graphics, LED indicators and new colour schemes.

- Available in four colour schemes
Bajaj Pulsar 220F update
New LED headlight has integrated LED DRLs
The biggest change is the addition of a new LED headlight unit with integrated LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), replacing the previous halogen setup. The updated lighting is housed within the familiar semi-faired front end. The rest of the bodywork remains unchanged, and the Pulsar 220F continues to carry the silhouette that has become synonymous with it over the years.
Beyond the lighting upgrade, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine producing 20.9hp and 18.6Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The updated Pulsar 220F now costs Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), an increase of Rs 8,000 from the Rs 1.28 lakh price following its previous update in December.
One of the oldest motorcycles in Bajaj’s portfolio, the Pulsar 220F continues to enjoy a loyal following despite intensifying competition from newer and more modern alternatives. As we recently reported, Bajaj is also preparing a major refresh of its Classic Pulsar range, and what appears to be the next-generation Pulsar 125 has already been spotted testing on Indian roads. Those motorcycles are expected to move to an all-new platform with significant chassis and suspension changes, and it remains to be seen whether the 220F will be included in that overhaul.
