Toyota has unveiled the Corolla Concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The 13th generation of the Corolla will take design inspiration from this concept, with a launch likely in late 2026 or early 2027. For context, the current (12th) generation Corolla has been on sale in global markets since 2018. The concept features revolutionary changes with sharp exterior design cues, front and rear LED light bars, and spacious interiors. The new-gen Corolla could come with a range of powertrains, including ICE, EV, plug-in hybrid, and strong hybrid. As of now, there are no plans for an India comeback, with the 11th-gen Corolla Altis being the last model sold here and discontinued in 2020.
