The fourth-generation Nissan Elgrand takes heavy inspiration from the Hyper Tourer concept revealed in 2023.

Its fascia looks striking, mainly because of the usage of pixel-like elements that merge seamlessly with the DRLs.

The Elgrand features sliding doors on either side to make ingress and egress more convenient.

Gets a boxy rear design with pixel-like LED units on the taillights and a Nissan badge under it.

Features a dual-tone dashboard featuring two 14.3-inch displays, a 2-spoke steering wheel, and touch-sensitive AC control buttons.

The centre console lacks a drive selector stalk, as the Elgrand features buttons to select the drive mode.

It gets 3 rows of seating as before, but the middle row captain chairs now support electronic adjustments for seat recline and leg support.

Nissan has unveiled the fourth-generation Elgrand MPV at the Japan Mobility Show, featuring a thoroughly revised exterior and interior design that makes it look more sophisticated and modern. In the overseas market, the Elgrand is a prime rival to premium MPVs like the Toyota Vellfire, Toyota Alphard, and Honda Odyssey. Nissan has planned its Japan launch by the third quarter of 2026. While the technical details of the updated MPV are yet to be revealed, the Elgrand will get a 3rd-generation e-Power hybrid powertrain mated with an updated electric 4WD setup.
