
The Mercedes-Benz V-Class luxury MPV has been launched at Rs 1.4 crore.

Front-end gets AMG style bumper, a grille with tri-star details and LED headlamps.

India spec V-Class is sold in the Extra Long Wheelbase form and gets powered sliding doors.

The MPV gets AMG-Line exterior bits that extend to the 18-inch alloys.

At the back, there's powered opening for both the tailgate and rear windscreen.

The MPV features a two-tone interior with a dual screen setup on the dashboard.

Since it gets the last gen MBUX software, it gets a number of useful physical buttons.

Supportive front seats feature power adjustment and ventilation.

Second row seats get heating, cooling, and massaging functions along with wireless phone chargers.

Even the third row seats get a ventilation function.

The spacious boot can be accessed by via the powered tailgate or rear windscreen opening.

It is powered by either a 237hp, 2.0-litre diesel or a 231hp, 2.0-litre petrol with mild hybrid assist.

Mercedes-Benz has re-entered the luxury MPV segment with the new V-Class. Priced at Rs 1.14 crore (ex-showroom), the luxury MPV will be locally assembled at the brand's facility in Chakan, Pune. The India-spec V-Class comes standard with the AMG Line exterior package, featuring a sporty finish for the bumpers and dual-tone rims. On the inside, the V-Class can be specced in two different colour schemes. The luxury MPV is available in two 6-seater options, wherein the second row seats can be either front-facing or rear-facing. Another option is a 4-seater version where the second row only comes with captain chairs. A USP of the V-Class is the third row seats that feature ventilation, while the second row captain chairs get a variety of power adjustment options along with cooling, heating, memory and massage functions. The V-Class can be had with either a petrol or diesel, both being 2.0-litre engines with the former featuring a mild-hybrid system. Mercedes is selling the MPV in the extra-long wheelbase (EWB) guise in India.
