JSW Motors' first car to launch in India will be a re-badged version of the Jetour T2 SUV. Jetour is a sub-brand under the Chinese company Chery, which operates in markets like China and select countries across the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and Latin America. JSW Group’s independent passenger mobility division, JSW Motors, is expected to launch its version of the T2 SUV in the second half of this year and it'll roll out of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar plant in Maharashtra. The T2 will arrive with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, hence it'll be the i-DM variant – available in FWD and AWD forms – that will launch in India.
