The redesigned bodywork integrates MotoGP-derived stacked winglets beneath the windshield and Aprilia claims the new aerodynamics increase downforce for improved cornering precision and high-speed stability. The RSV4 Factory features forged aluminium wheels, semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension with corner-by-corner automatic adjustment, and Brembo Hypure callipers biting twin front discs.
Electronics include the APRC suite with predictive and adaptive controls including wheelie control, slide control, eight-level traction control, three-level engine brake control, launch control, and cruise control. The bike comes with a 5-inch TFT display, new backlit handlebar switches, GPS module for automatic lap timing, cornering headlights, and corner-by-corner engine calibration that automatically adjusts power delivery and electronic settings based on track position and rider preferences.
