The Hayabusa sits at the top of Suzuki India's lineup as a Halo model. Power comes courtesy of a 1340cc, inline-4, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 190hp and 150Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. Late last year, Suzuki updated the Hayabusa in India with a few technical updates that refine the electronics package. The most significant update for 2026 is the revision of the Hayabusa's selectable throttle maps, which have been retuned to boost torque delivery in the lower rev range. The cruise control system has also been improved to remain active during gear changes when using the bi-directional quickshifter. Finally, Suzuki has also refined the launch control system and added a more compact and lighter lithium-ion battery.

Delhi’s pollution crisis justifies strong mandates like this
Buyers will find ways around it, like registering in other states
It's too harsh! Incentivising EV purchases is a better strategy
The mandate should extend to four-wheelers too
