The 2025 XC90 sports utility vehicle gets a new Mulberry Red colour over the other five options – Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, Bright Dusk and Vapour Grey.

Volvo has fitted a larger 11.2-inch touchscreen that has an improved resolution and a new user interface (UI). This portrait-styled display runs on Google-based software and supports over-the-air (OTA) updates. Additionally, the automaker has also upgraded the 360-degree camera system, wireless charger and sound insulation materials.
Other features carried over to the updated XC90 include a panoramic sunroof, 19-speaker Bowers and Wilkins sound system, powered front seats with memory function, Nappa leather seats with ventilation, an air purifier (with a PM2.5 filter) and seven airbags.
Upholstery
Three new leather upholstery colours have been introduced – black, off-white and light brown –replacing the maroon and brown ones. Even the inlays for dashboard and door trims now get new grey and brown options.
2025 Volvo XC90 engine specs
In the latest XC90 model, the same 250hp, 360Nm 2.0-litre turbo petrol mild-hybrid engine does duty. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels; it takes 7.7 seconds to reach the 100kph mark.

The pre-facelift XC90’s last recorded price was Rs 1.01 crore, ex-showroom, and with the 2025 XC90, the price has gone up by a negligible Rs 2 lakh to Rs 1.03 crore.
