I want to update my 2017 Ford Figo’s 175/65 tyres to 185/80 on its current 14-inch alloy wheels. Is it safe to go for 15-inch wheels?

AAA It is not advisable to fit 15-inch wheels on your Figo. Stick to the current 14-inch ones. You can, however, change your tyres to fatter 185/65 R14 rubber, which would be a good upsize option for the Ford Figo.
