I am planning to buy an SUV, and can’t decide between the Tata Safari and Mahindra Scorpio. Taking fuel economy and future maintenance into account, which one must I opt for?

AAA The Safari and Scorpio are both old-school vehicles and quite hardy for long-term use. In the long run, the Scorpio is likely to require lower maintenance. That said, the new Safari Storme is a big improvement over the previous Safari and it’s the one we’d recommend as it feels better than the Scorpio in most ways.
