Me and My Cars: Gaurav Gill

What are you driving and why?

    An E92 BMW M3, because it’s a daily-driver supercar-beater. And I have a Porsche Cayenne too.

What’s next on your wish list?

    The Lamborghini Huracán Performante.

The most fun you’ve had in a car?

Nothing beats rallying, but unfortunately, it’s in a T72 battle tank! Going flat-out over trees and through walls.

    Your dream money-no-object car?

    Pagani Zonda R.

Who is your all-time greatest motorsport hero?

    Sébastien Loeb.

    Favourite road?

The one right behind my house. It’s a replica of the Isle of Man but only 1km long with corners over sharp crests and it’s pretty narrow too!

What’s on your automotive bucket list?

Drifting on ice at 300+ kph.

What would you do with your last litre of fuel?

Take my rally car to Finland, drive the hell out of it and jump sideways over the
    big crests.

Your ideal five-car garage would be?

1967 Mustang Eleanor, AMG G 63, Ferrari F12 Novitec N-Largo, Subaru Impreza STI 22B and Porsche 964 RWB widebody.

    Which was your first car?

I used to steal the Maruti Van from my house and drift it on an empty ground during the rains, because it was rear-wheel drive!
