We are family of four and are looking for a safe, comfortable car with a good engine. We just love our 2012 Maruti Alto K10, which is a pocket rocket, but space has become a constraint. I wanted to upgrade to a compact SUV like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. I also like the new Ertiga – it appears to be a great value proposition because of its seven seats. The older Ertiga felt out of breath when fully loaded and on hilly regions. Hope that’s not the case with the new one.

AAA - The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is an excellent choice. It was the 2019 Autocar Car of the Year and is an extremely, comfortable, versatile and user-friendly family car. We would advise you to go for the Ertiga 1.5 diesel before it’s phased out in April, as it has a strong, refined and efficient engine. In fact, the diesel drives better than the 1.5 petrol which has a bit of a flat power delivery.
