I am looking to buy new car that can be used daily in the city, and occasionally, outside the city. My budget is Rs 7 lakh. I have a newborn at home, so a bigger cabin and boot space are necessities. Given the fuel prices, mileage would also be a prime factor. What are the best options available currently and in this year’s upcoming launches list?

AAA Why don’t you consider the Toyota Etios Liva? It should fit your budget. It is also very spacious, quite fuel efficient and, being a Toyota, is very reliable too. Also, the Liva comes with airbags as standard, giving you a sense of safety when travelling with the family. The other option you could look at is the new Suzuki Swift. It looks and feels more desirable than the Etios and is nicer to drive too, but isn’t as spacious or practical.
