I'm looking to buy a Hero Xpulse 200 Pro. I'm 6ft 3in tall and am comfortable with the bike's set-up. I will be transitioning from the Hero ZMR 225cc to the Xpulse. There were spy images on social media and some rumours about an Xpulse 210 launch in October 2024. Has this been confirmed or are random Instagram pages confusing the upcoming 400cc Xpulse with a new 210cc Xpulse?

Kindly let me know as I'm planning to get the current Xpulse 200 Pro by the end of June.

Autocar India says: It is common knowledge that Hero is working on a 400cc plus ADV that is likely to come under the Xpulse family. However, some images of a different Xpulse were captured last year.

We has reported on this when an Xpulse was spotted with this new engine, alongside a street bike that was also running the same motor. While there are rumours of an Xpulse 210, our analysis is that this is a different engine entirely. First, the engine looks visually different to the motor in the Karizma 210. Moreover, the Karizma’s engine is a peaky unit with most of its power concentrated above 6,000rpm. This will not make for a good match in the Xpulse.

Our expectation is that this is a different motor, and one that is larger than the 210 engine. We don’t have any clarity yet on when an Xpulse with this engine could launch, and it may not happen this year. It is also possible that Hero could debut this engine in a street bike under the Xtreme family first, before it debuts in the Xpulse.

If you are willing to wait, the bigger engine should give the Xpulse a sizable bump in highway capabilities.
