Tech is no longer reserved for just high-end machines, it's trickling down fast. One of the most noticeable upgrades in recent years is the TFT display. TFTs are capable of displaying vibrant colours and sharper contrast while showcasing an array of information. Unlike basic LCDs that stick to static layouts and segmented readouts, TFT displays can incorporate animations and cycle between various pages, typically in much higher resolution. Here, we have curated a list of all the bikes under Rs 2 lakh that offer this feel-good feature.

10. Yamaha MT-15

Priced at Rs 1.81 lakh

The Yamaha MT-15 is available in a DLX variant positioned above the standard model. It commands a slight premium and adds a TFT display in return. Yamaha also introduced three new colour options with this update.

9. Honda NX200

Priced at Rs 1.69 lakh

The NX200 was introduced when Honda updated the CB200X to comply with OBD2B emissions norms. This update brought along a 4.2-inch TFT as well, which is now also available with most of Honda 2-wheelers, including the Activa and Dio.

The Honda's dash features Bluetooth connectivity via a dedicated smartphone app that brings in music control and turn-by-turn navigation.

8. TVS Apache RTR 200 4V

Priced at Rs 1.60 lakh

The new top-spec variant of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V features a 5-inch TFT cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity and voice assist. This premium display comes as part of a comprehensive upgrade that also includes a projector headlamp with LED DRLs and traction control, positioning it as the new flagship variant in the Apache 200cc lineup.

7. Honda Hornet 2.0

Priced at Rs 1.58 lakh

The Honda Hornet 2.0 was another model to receive the same 4.2-inch TFT display, identical in both functionality and form factor. As part of its efforts to meet stricter OBD2B emission norms, Honda steadily updated its entire line-up. Alongside these compliance-related upgrades, the brand introduced the TFT dash across most of its two-wheeler range.

6. Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid

Priced at Rs 1.50 lakh

The Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid gets the same set of upgrades over the standard FZ-X as the FZ-S Hybrid does over its base model. This includes an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) that enables silent start and start/stop functionality. It also features a 4.2-inch colour TFT display, along with updated switchgear to operate the added functions.

5. TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

Priced at Rs 1.48 lakh

The new top-spec TVS Apache RTR 160 4V now comes with the same 5-inch TFT cluster as its 200cc sibling. Like the RTR 200 4V, it also gets a projector headlamp with LED DRLs and traction control.

4. Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid

Priced at Rs 1.45 lakh

The most affordable offering from Yamaha that gets a TFT dash is the FZ-S Fi Hybrid. The Fi Hybrid is the first FZ since launch to offer a 4.2-inch TFT display. It comes with smartphone integration, offers music control, turn-by-turn navigation and call notifications. The Hybrid suffix points to an integrated starter generator that has been added recently. This feature enables silent start and features a start/stop system that switches off the engine in traffic and restarts it with a quick pull of the clutch.

3. Honda SP160

Priced at Rs 1.23 lakh

As is the case with all the updated Hondas, the SP160 also features the same 4.2-inch TFT dash with three brightness levels and a white background. Honda's latest entrant in the 125cc premium commuter segment features a TFT dash. Along with this, the CB125 Hornet is also the only one in its class to offer a USD fork. It features the same engine as the Shine 125 and SP125, but in this application it produces 0.2hp and 0.3Nm more.
