My budget is around 14 lakhs, and I am confused between the MG Windsor exclusive, the Tata Nexon Empowered 45 and the Tata Punch Empowered S40. Please Suggest.

The MG car is a genuinely spacious family car with a comfortable ride, a premium cabin and a strong feature set. It feels like a proper step up from your 2018 Nexon, with a more mature driving experience and a much more spacious rear seat. The Nexon Empowered 45 is a good car, but it is essentially an evolution of what you already own, and the Windsor simply feels like a bigger upgrade for the money. The Punch Empowered S40 is a solid value proposition, but it is a smaller car and does not feel as premium or as spacious as the Windsor. The only real drawback with the Windsor is that MG's service network is not as extensive as Tata's, but it is still a well-supported product in most major cities. Overall, the Windsor Exclusive is the best fit for your budget and your upgrade expectations.

@ravipy Go for Punch because it packs a punch with features at that price. Both the Nexon and punch have a far better driving experience and workflow (paddle shifters for regen levels, buttons or touch switches for functions, etc). I’ve been using a punch ev for the last 12 months and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve taken. Only downside of the punch is that the rear seats don’t have load sensors and thus you need to have the seatbelt’s plugged in at all times

@kartik_iyer Tata is loosing its plot. Visit a authorised dealership workshop and you will never want to buy a TATA VEHICLE again. Also there is a constant gap between authorised workshop and Tata Motors executive for their availability on discussion and decision to be made on various service and maintenance issues. I have been a TATA MOTOR fan right from Indica to present NexonEV and TiagoEV daysand I would not put my money on a TATA vehicle
Never buy Tata please. My personal experience hasn't been pleasant with the product. Noisy engine, rattles and niggles within first month of ownership. Will never ever buy a Tata again.
Shame on people considering chinese brands even after knowing they are our enemies. Don't know how and when these traitors will realise the struggle and sacrifice of our soldiers to protect the nation

@ravipy Go for Windsor when you can have a luxury seating vehicle as compared to nexon. Which also has less electrical issues to nexon. I have personally driven both, but MG feels very spacious and has good boot space too. I can say that MG doesn't have great outer looks. But, inside you would feel like seating in a luxury car
@akshay.19 It feels luxurious, yes but not at all comfortable, full road noise, butt pain when you go for just 100km, rear seat feels like a bench, etc. There are so many compromises in MG Windsor, it's best on paper worst on road
@tarunsai Well, I had my experience and based on that i am giving the answer. But, if you had faced butt problem, it could be solved by cushioning alone.

I don't say to buy this Xuv400, just go for a test drive. The only comfortable car for driving and family and truly engineered car. I own xuv400 and only thing I can say is I never felt any bit of fatigue despite driving long hours. Windsor is a show car, it feels and looks luxurious but at true comfort I would rate it 20/100. As my two of my friends own this and they feel 1. Complete fatigue just for half an hour drive 2. Heavy road noise continuously 3. Butt pain while driving 4. Full body roll and back seat people fell they're sitting in a flat bench bus, yes it's true observe it's actually a flat bench 5. Worst steering response, you will feel that you are driving a car, you feel it as your are driving a van 6. No rear wiper - my friend always will get pissed of with this 7. Very big screen becoming distraction while night driving.

Here is my honest take based on owning the Nexon EV 45 Fearless: The Windsor vs. Punch: The Windsor will likely give you a high-premium ownership experience. However, unless you have family members who are over 6 feet tall and absolutely need that massive legroom, the Punch is the smarter pick. The Tata Advantage: Tata’s EVs are highly road-tested. Because they are so popular, if you ever run into a major issue, there's a YouTube video or an online community explaining exactly how to fix it. Plus, because they share so many parts with their internal combustion engine (ICE/petrol) counterparts, it is incredibly easy to find spare parts in the outside market later on. My One Regret: I own the Nexon 45 Fearless, and my only regret is not stretching for the top trim to get the full feature set. Missing out on the 360-degree camera, cruise control, and ventilated seats is something you feel daily. If you get the Punch top model, you’ll get absolutely all of those premium features within a tighter budget. It’s a complete package, and you will honestly love driving it for the next 15 years.
