I use a 2013 Hyundai Grand i10. The car's performance is very good, but the mileage is very low at around 10 kpl. My daily running is around 20 km. Should I replace the car or install an aftermarket CNG kit?

With a daily running of just 20km, your annual usage is relatively low, so the financial case for an aftermarket CNG kit is weak. The Grand i10 is a reliable car, but a 2013 model is now over a decade old, and investing in a CNG kit on an ageing car is not the best long-term decision. If the Hyundai car is otherwise in good condition and you are happy with it, you can continue using it, but if the low fuel efficiency is bothering you, it may be time to consider a replacement. A newer petrol car like the Maruti Suzuku Celerio will be more efficient, more reliable and safer, and will give you a better ownership experience over the next few years. At your running, a petrol car remains the most sensible choice.

@santosh.32 I wouldn't recommend changing your Venue as of now. It's still a fairly new car, and with a daily running of 45-50 km, the upgrade cost may not justify the benefits unless you are specifically looking for more space and comfort.

Hi This would be my first car and my budget is 10 Lakhs for an Automatic Transmission. Looking for a city car primarily with occasional long distance trips. Any good suggestions for a car that has smooth transmission within this budget also has a decent after sale service but is also not too expensive to maintain. Good with both Hatch back as well as Sub 4 meter SUV options if available.

@sid_dandapath You can go with Baleno AMT. It is easy to drive and has low maintenance costs. It has a decent mileage too.

I just sold my SUV and am looking to upgrade, I am an enthusiastic driver and go for on-road trips a lot. I have a family of 4 adults and a 5 month old kid. I am looking for a 4-seater SUV with great driving experience with a car seat for my kid. Also, I need space for a full size stroller and at least for 2 suitcases. As I will drive and explore through this car, reliability is important and easy access to get things fixed if at all is important. My budget is between 2 and 3 crore. Many have suggested LC 300. Help me choose the right car for my usage. Please be practical and challenge my assumptions. My situation: I am 31 and work as a software developer. The Brezza LXI Turbo is far superior to the Punch and Tiago as far as smoothness, performance, and cabin space are concerned. It is also backed by Maruti's widespread support network, and the ownership experience is likely to be fuss-free. The on-road cost of the Brezza LXI will fall within your Rs 9 lakh budget, and even though you might miss a few features, it still feels worth opting for. Alternatively, you could also consider the Maruti Dzire VXI MT for its large boot, comfy ride and strong fuel efficiency.

It is one of the most spacious cars in the segment, with a genuinely usable third row and a comfortable ride that makes it an excellent family car. The petrol engine is smooth, refined and well suited to your running of under 1,000 km a month, where the hybrid premium is harder to justify.The Mahindra XUV 7XO is a strong alternative with a more powerful engine and a more feature-rich cabin, but the HyCross has the edge on space, comfort and long-term ownership experience.The Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Seltos are good cars, but they do not offer the same level of space or comfort, and the Renault Duster is more of a driver's car than a family car. The Toyota car mentioned above is the car you will be happiest with after five years of ownership.
