I have reviewed the Fiat Linea and am of the opinion that it is good value for money. But I live in Mumbai and I do a daily commute of 80km, to and from work. I was wondering if Fiat has any plans to introduce an automatic transmission for its diesel Linea.

AAA Unfortunately, Fiat has no plans to introduce the Linea with an automatic transmission for now. The current car is not designed to take one, and engineering an automatic gearbox would call for a huge investment, which doesn’t justify the small demand there is for automatics.
